  • Kern Economic Development Corporation, Board Member – Order of Business: to develop jobs in Kern County
  • California Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley – Order of Business: to develop jobs, water, clean air and in general gives the residents of the valley and East Kern a voice in Sacramento as great as the voices from Southern and Northern California.
  • KEDC/East Kern Economic Alliance, Board Member – Order of Business: to develop jobs in the East Kern Area
  • Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5948 Tehachapi Mountain Post – More than veterans helping veterans, VFW offers community service programs, citizenship education, youth scholarship programs, safety programs, partners with Boy Scouts of America and so much more. Their motto: “Honor the dead by helping the living.”
  • Rotary International, Rosamond – Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
  • American Legion, Tehachapi Post 221 – Offers a variety of ways to serve others; again, service above oneself.
  • Tehachapi High Twelve Club – an organization of Master Masons who support Masonic causes with special emphasis on youth support and patriotic events. A part of the Masonic Order which grants scholarships to graduating High School students who wish to pursue education and careers in public service.
